my laptop's dvd-rom is not detecting any cd, what should i do?is there any option instead of changing dvd-rom?

Hi Tanya, Firstly, do confirm whether its cdrom prob or cd prob by using few cds. If no cds are playing then its confirmed that its cdrom prob and you have to take it for service. thanks, charles.

I agree with Charles. If you are able to see the CD ROM Drive in My Computer but the Disc's are not getting detected than its an internal problem with CDROM. Hence, no need to check the Device Manager. :)
