Defeating LGMD deterioration with Mamsagni Rasayana: 19 Patients In our small clinical study involving scientifically verified Ayurvedic herbs and simple supportive therapies yielded promising results in 19 boys with LGMD. Although this Ayurvedic program did not have the hope for the genetic effect of restoring dysferlin production, it did reduce serum CK levels. This could be a sign of decreased muscle damage.
