Enterprises are not discreetly engineered economic machines operating in stable predictable environments. Like any other living species, enterprises also are also meant to be living organisms. They are adaptive systems - inter-related to and interdependent and interacting with other living and adaptive systems and the ever-changing living habitat. They don’t manage change but respond to it by evolving. Enterprises striving to survive somehow are either getting perished or are endangered. Only those, choosing to move to a new level of participation and performance shall consciously evolve and create their own realities, by raising their level of awareness about their own being and the environment in which they exist.
