CRO at Country level, reporting to the CRO at Organizational level. Responsible for Risk Management functions for BankMuscat, Saudi Arabia and Muscat Securities House, Saudi Arabia. A member of CROC, Saudi Arabia. Facilitating the functioning of Country Credit Committee, BCP Committee and Management Committee as Secretary and Member. Facilitating the functioning of Asset Liability Management Committee (ALCO) as a member. In terms of time allocation, Corporate Banking, Treasury, Operations of BankMuscat, Riyadh and Operations of Muscat Security House, Riyadh are priorities for my role. The role encompasses the whole canvas of enterprise risk management with significant contributions to management of credit risk, market risk and operational risk. I have played an instrumental role in institutionalizing best practices at the Branch, particularly in Corporate Credit, Retail Credit, Treasury and Operations.Playing an active role as member of Compliance Committee. Key inputs for the Finance initiative for developing an FTP model appropriate for the Branch. Key in puts to the Corporate and Retail Business divisions for streamlining credit processes in both pre sanction and post sanction stages. Contributions by way of Portfolio Reviews and Policy Reviews.Responsibilities have been recently added extending the scope of the role to Muscat Securities House, Riyadh, a subsidiary of the Bank in Capital Markets.
