Responsible for bulkprocurement of all kinds of textile and uniform material ,fabricated uniforms, Specialised clothing for hospitals, High Altitude, Extreme climates and specialised operations in the NAvy.

Responsible for assessing candidates for their suitability as Officers in the Army, Navy and Air Force based on Group Behaviour Analysis. Additionally assessing  and training serving Officers of the Armed Forces for Suitability as prospective assesors (GTOs)

Staff appointment in the Headquarters Southern Naval Command. Responsible for management of Civil Works and maintenance. Executive function involving managerial decisions with respect to Approvals , sanctions and release of funds.

This has been an enormous learning challenge.It was like starting to walk for the first time.Heading a loss making set up comprising of a warehouse, and three retail outlets akin to a large mid size mall, selling almost any thing, from pins to packaged water, Wallets to Wines, FMCG and white goods , branded cosmetics, apparel you name it and its there. There were issues about interstate procurements, delivery and payment schedules, Supply disruptions, Monsoon planning and an omnipresent force 'Never Says Satisfied' customer. It was one heady cocktail of sorts when I was assigned this job and i went in "On a wing and a prayer". But as someone said "Do'nt ask for a lighter load, but pray to God for a stronger back. I did exactly that and the business has been recording recording profits since.I have felt that you have to own your job to execute it properly.
