A safer India

idea posted by Sudeep Tarafdar Senior Consultant, IBM

First of all Happy Republic day to all my fellow members of this platform and others, I mean still security is a big concern for many of us Indians and others who travel to India, as India has so much cross border terrorism which also results in terrorist activities in other parts of the country as well and there is growing problem of naxalism that is happening, so I want my country to be a much more safer place than before and in that regard strengthen the internal security, for this UID project plays a key role which gives unique identification number to the citizens of the country, which will really help in the future interms of security in the country.

Three cheers to the Republic of India! Let us feel proud of our country and pray to the god to continue us in this democratic system for years to come. Our faith in system will definitely impact on the neighbors and its disturbing elements to follow our path of peaceful living for growth. Let us promise to remove the social evils from our mind and society to make it free from caste and creed. Let us know by UID rather than surname.

YES.. a terror free safer India..!!

Once terrorism is removed, India can transform and develop into a responsible nation with Good education, more jobs and a satisfactory system for users.

India in Corruption is however 17th in the world.. so my vote is for - a Terror free India first..!!

A less corrupt and more aware India!

idea posted by Dhruva Trivedy Chief Interventionist & Promoter, PERCON The Strategic Interventionists

It is evident that in this country, we have got into a vicious cycle of education/awareness chasing population and corruption has acted as a catalyst. We can not check the population growth till awareness is created and similarly every attempt to create awareness is chasing a population coverage that seems distant every time, because it has an unharnessed growth. And to make matters worse corruption is making it more vicious and is acting as a negative catalyst retarding and hindering socio-economic growth. That's where we are! It would be anyone's guess as to what kind of multi-pronged strategy the nation needs to adopt! The planners have failed so far!

Accomplishment of PURA (Providing Urban amenities in Rural Areas)

idea posted by Nitin M Aras Head/VP/GM-Tech. Support, ODTIN Food Solutions Pvt Ltd

During tenure of Mr AB Vajpaee and Dr Kalam...Dr Kalam has proposed this PURA system for better all round  development of country to become a developed country by 2020. That was the vision of great leader of my country..

I wish to have this operation accomplished by this year...it is having all urban amenities in rural area which will have the following impact for country betterment

INFRASTRUCTURE -  rural area to be well connected by road, rail and air for transportation and industrialization for better life style of the people...retain people there to balance and population flow towards urban areas...employment development will be there

AMENITIES - development of hospitals, malls, recreation centers etc for business development

COMMUNICATION - for safety, security, information sharing, agriculture development, R&D etc.

ITS a crux...please visit www.apjkalam.com for detail about PURA project

This is indespensible for country growth...

Nothing like it. I believe it will full conviction. The first step is to have broad and better road ways. They are veins and arteries. I come from UP and I have seen it happen. I thank NHAI so much for what they have done to small cities with the roads. I know colleagues coming from small towns to NCR for job and returning to their place. The traveling is getting easier and it will work wonders in near future. Big cities need play business hub but the factories/workshops need to be transferred to small cities. We already have such model, we need Infrastructure and Amenities, like Sir said above. Communication is already getting better. Once we have these placed, we are better than none. If you see, Realty business is already working on it. We actually don't need politicals to get these to work. We only need people who believe in this model and everything will follow. If you guys believe in it, go buy some land at your birth place or don't sell your property there because thats how I see India transform.

India requires a Good System that will lead to a Education, Jobs, Entrpreneurship,Health insurance and social responsibity.

In India there is no value today for Life of a man. Safety norma are well below international standard.

Same indian who goes to any European country,US or South east asia follows the rukes very strictly and ensure the that country always looks neat ,clean.

Where are these principles coming from. That is a system followed by every one. I beleive every citizen need to follow system , then you will have all other things in place.

As the future of a country lies on the shoulders of the youths, the more responsible we would be towards our commitments and country, the more India will prosper and grow. Also, if we become more responsible towards the well being of our fellow beings, much of poverty will vanish.

idea posted by avaneendra mudigonda legal Counsel, MVN

The blue print of India is English, math, Civil service and armed forces. Before the liberal indignation may sweep me i  will hasten to remind that the blue print of CHINA-whose economic progress we much covet-is Communist party of CHINA. 60 years of being a Republic and if one is asked about 4 fundamental things that made India what it is today. They would be English, math, Civil service, and Armed forces. They have impinged our lives one way or other. Scholarship, universities, tech prowess, rule of law, being just and fair, informed and discerning, freedom and autonomy and what not which we consider as drivers of  today and tomorrow, owe their survival to this Blue print. They still are constitutional and  may make India ready for future despite disconcert and disappointment that  we may hold today.

A nation of more Self-Respecting People

idea posted by Sujeet Vishwakarma Managing Director, RCA Group

We Love to nag, brag, and complaint. How many of us have looked at ourselves as a person who could initiate change. How many of us have stood up for our own ground. We say we are proud of India. But are we making India Proud?

What I would love to see, is a nation with all the people standing for themselves, with their society, for a nation united by a sense of mutual respect, understanding, and responsibility. A place where crime does not require a police control, but the conscience control by the people who could do it. I Know it is a long dream. But let's hope....

idea posted by Avishek Mazumdar Founder President, Kolkata Group

A safer, entrepreneurial, non corrupt and aware India can only be achieved through literacy. All India needs the most is literacy. When I say literacy it’s not just learning to sign but proper education. Nothing can compensate that. The answer to almost all the problems of our great nation lies in there. Education is the foundation to the safer, entrepreneurial, non corrupt and aware India!!!
