If you are capable then those at the seats of power would consider you a threat and their greatest enemy. Therefore greedy and power chairs make plans to create all possible hurdles for real performers so that they could either not perform with full potential and keep on earning for survival only or become a party to support power chairs by adopting of unethical culture.

Faulty teaching methodologies damaging education and curb talents. http://bit.ly/lMWaYr
@Kanika Dalmia Thanks, I appreciate your views against the present education systems. It appears that some error occurred while posting due to which the headline is repeated and the views did not show here. Education in India is mere imitation of the West. This is causing a great amount of strain on our youngsters. They are unable to perform in real life and feel burdened all the time. They start considering themselves as useless, weak, without any enthusiasm for work. The bookish education has not developed in them skills of thinking original and research on newer ideas. The system and the surroundings make them feel discouraged and fearful. They lack initiatives to plan and work on new experimental projects due to fear of failure, instead keep on doing more useless studies to gather higher degrees with good division. Those few who try to accept a challenge, face many hurdles from authorities, which may force them to live a life of misery. But then real brave prefer honor living to misery and continue with the challenge!..http://bit.ly/lituZi
@Neelam"Natural ability without education often raise a person to glory and virtue than education without natural ability." The present education system does not encourage the students to use their natural hidden talents, instead the burden of unnecessary syllabus and unwanted subjects curb the natural abilities of the students and make them dull and disinterested in studies. Agree with@Nataraj S Narayan Britishers made us addict of their supremacy and culture. Even today in 64th year of Independence, majority of literate Indian population accept foreign and English "the only good" better than our own.

we cannot change the system unless and until we have in mind that first its "I HAVE TO CHANGE" that is lacking in us . we think that why should i take risk .let them do???!!!! the person who has taken the paper that too in lucknow for Rs. 600000/- only ... what a system we have
I must say "3 idiots" is worth the answer...
When you have 200 seats and 20000 students what can be method of selection other than exam ?

Be it further education or employment at each and every stage our basis of weighment of knowledge is MARKS oriented. So what is happening is only resultant at best. |

Suresh, As already stated it is further education and employment which basically means the sole criterion for judging knowledge is made out as marks that is at fault.
It's true employers attach importance to marks, because the alternatives are limited to select employees, but that's not the issue here.

We are averse to change. Change entails critical thinking, device new methods, develop them, put them into litmus test, face the music in getting the acceptance from all walks of life! Its a onerous task! Who will bell the cat?

from the day one in school ,we are taught to mug up answers and vomit in exam papers...but truly how many of us really remember the newtons laws or archidemes principle.....and people who score high marks are being selected for the good colleges ,jobs etc....do our education system really enhancing our knowledge??...a change is important in our education system.

As we all know, selection to NIT's, the better known engg colleges apart from IIT's is AIEEE,a better score here will guarantee admission to the college and course of his/her choice, hence the desperation to buy the question paper and get high scores, through fair or foul means. The fees to NIT's are also considerably lesser than private engg colleges, plus relatively better standard and more chances of getting placed on passing out, hence the 'benefits' outweigh the 'costs' of buying the paper!!It can only be checked by appointing 'teflon' skin examiners who won't be 'contaminated' by the 'virus' of getting easy money, since it is very difficult to know who will or who will not succumb, one can only hope for the best and that punishment of getting caught will deter people from attempting such stunts.

Problem is we havent ever gone into the root of the problem. Instead we just make additions to existing system without much of thought. There is no consultations with academicians nor are students & parents views taken on what is actually the need of the hour.

Change is resisted not because they will provide better outcome, but because the people involved in the existing system would be forced to handle tremendous pressure of handling the change. We require a shift in the paradigm, i.e. the paradigm shift from one of "Easy going approach" to one of "practical and pragmatic approach" suiting the current generation given the modernisation and the technology advancement they are exposed to!

Office Etiquette or Office Manners is about conducting yourself respectfully and courteously in the office or workplace I have noticed that as we go from college to the real corporate world it is hard to get used to a different environment.... |
