I think iphone was the reason here, I mean it made a great headstart to the race of smartphones which are dominating world over, they are simply going to overtake the no. of PC's across the world in coming days and this smartphone segment with gem of a phone at their stable and an even more interesting was their iphone OS which supports so many things, and the valuation of this company soared like anything, and then to go with the ipad this looks so good compared to other tablets around the world, and literally steve jobs took this company from doldrums to the No.1 position in the world. And they have this habit of delivering blockbuster products like ipod, iphone, and now the ipad. |

I mean with out him Apple would not have been in a place where they are now, when he came aboard to apple for the second time apple was doing very badly interms of business and products, and he came all the "i" series products came, like iphone, ipod, ipod touch and now the ipad, iphone was a runaway success and He came up with revolutionary products like anything and he has made this as a habit lately....and this made Apple a brand a hit with consumers world over and that is why Apple is now world's biggest tech company..... |

When Steve Jobs returned to Apple it seemed like things took a turn for the better. You could say that it all started with Steve which lead to the iPod, iPhone, the iPad, MacBook Air etc, etc…

People might have fade-up with the monopolistic MS cartel. Having option one would definitely consider to change, at times may be sometimes at additional cost. Secondly may be apple come-up with high compatibility with other HW/SWs. |

There can be no debate on this.....Microsoft is just eating on its existing user base, while Apple creates markets, creates a niche and sets the industry standard.
