Say, I have won a painting competition which is my hobbit and i'm interested in technical career. Do you still think appreciation certificate is important than money in such competition. Not that i dont want AppCert. But I would def'ly prefer money when I won in a not so "useful for me" project. You go to a carnival. There is shop of baloon shooting. if you shoot 5 cont'ly you may get a pass for new year bash in PUB or your name is kept in the WINNER OF THE DAY list for the entire carnival.... What would you choose... So, I'm not a hater of AppCert but certain chooser of money when I dont find real pleasure in choosing the other... What say Shailaja
