Let employees know what is going on. A lack of communication communicates to employees that they are not important. Companies get lazy about communication and forget its importance, especially in times of change. |

Absoluetly...let employees know what is going on... in their organisation...hidden agendas are damaging and would create confusion among workers .have clear chain of command line....communicate well with employees they deserve to know your goal ...this will make them feel helpful and accomplished.
Yes jyothi, u r right. No Shock & No Surprises. Communicate Regularly & periodically the changes,policies & progress of the company to the employees to avoid rumors & suspicion which leads to false propaganda.

After sometime passed, call the individual & council the pros & cons to him.Try to convince him or adjust yourself to his needs. |

In India business is conducted for making money primarily, feedback mechanism exist in very few organization, if you talk about counselling and all the, Ambanie’s, agarwala's will run away, TATA’s may say go get admitted in my rehabilitation centre if they have one.
I have watched the movie Sholay, you know what Gabbar told to Kalyia his team member “AAB Goli Kha”, this is what came to my mind after reading your prescription!!! Mr. Kaliya this is INDIYA.

The very reason for employee annoyance could not be without reason if a culture of participation and good management is in place. It never can happen all of a sudden as it is not mood swings that have a place in organised setups. And if their are such build ups reasons could be only in lack of good administration or lack of contact. Reason is important, so are preventive and timely corrective steps. |

Friends,
Communication, quality and timely response, having SOP's are all part of the Good practices that form good management so is analysis and counselling. It is avoidance and not repair that should be in forefront.

As new employees join acclimatise them to work flow and process, observe that they understand and adhere to process, escalation procedures. Business in itself is dynamic, major dynamics are created, handled by top management, whatever changes need to be incorporated is designed and crafted by the senior management team, the middle management gets them executed, and to do this they may need hands or team. Proper communication and work flow distribution, necessary structures like pen, comp, phone etc. should be in place. External interference like poaching, bad mouthing to be nipped at the bud. People join an organization to make their livelihood, to build a career an association to make money, status, contributing to self, family, society etc. |

I agree with this. I think it is important to make the employees feel valued and important, as well as keep them engaged and ofcourse updated.

let them make aware of wats goin on,take there ideas & appreciate there steps & appraise there work regularly with the carrer concelling that is needed for their enhancement................More-over let them feel that they are valuble part of their concern...

It can be said that making friends is important to share your ideas. If a person is friendly with his employees then he can communicate very well and also it helps to build trust!

Human mind always longs for appreciation.That is why it is said anyone should be praised in front of others to make him happy and it acts as a very big motivation to him.On the contrary when some one is depreciated for his mistake,especially in front of others, he feels let down and discouraged.It is important every one is recognised and every one is made to feel he is important.More than the monetary benefits,many people consider appreciation important.Of course no one is going to be content with oral or written appreciation alone.Assured or reasonable monetary rewards,as per industry norms,career growth opportunities,other facilities,required assistance etc will keep most of the employees happy. |
