As an Individual, how to improve your Personal Effectiveness?

People need to control the environment, rather than have it control them. This means exercising self determination and choice. People are in a position to grant themselves the power to decide how to respond to conditions and circumstances, by proactively undertaking positive steps to reclaim situations.

Personal leadership, which involves leading towards established aims. Develop the habit of concentrating on relevant activities. This forms the foundation of avoiding distractions and becoming more productive and successful.

the best course to being effective is to keep your eyes and ears open. Do not use judgement to judge people, use logic. Action speak louder than words. Do not be prejudiced, be INFORMED!!

Tasks undertaken or imposed upon, should be treated with priority and be delivered on or before deadline!! Do not offer excuses to yourself. Keep your guard up ...

First impression is always considered as the best. So when any one meets u for the first time ever ur appearance will create ur first impression and they talk to u ur language will do it

Self renewal, which surrounds all the other habits, enabling and encouraging them to happen and grow. Think of it as being in four parts: the spiritual, mental, physical and social/emotional, which all need feeding and developing.

By applying these basic tenets to the way people operate in their day-to-day lives, there is great potential to harness personal effectiveness and improve the environment, processes, and the way in which people tackle basic problems in everyday living. The rules can be applied to any situation, providing a foundation for improved effectiveness.

There has to be a way of measuring your current effectiveness based on some parameters. Only then you can come to which of these parameters require improvement/ enhancement. So be objective. Measure and improve.

Confidence really matter for personal effectiveness in order to get trust from others.

Your Body Language explains what you are.

Our effective decrease when we become emotional. Always try to be rational in all situation. Second thing which makes us more effective is to have a learning attitude. By that we become wiser step by step and in the long run way ahead of others.

Since a  person is not existing in isolation. To impart further one has to acquire and so on.  Till, the willingness or need to help others is alive it is a positively oriented need based activity.  

Excessive orientation to accumulation for self tends to arrest the flow at best.

Each individual has some strong points and some weak areas. People who can identify that properly are more effective in their course of life. To become more effective one should make best use of his/her strong points; utilize them 100% and simultaneously work on the weak areas to improve upon. 

We must acquire the ability to influence others by taking initiative to solve any problems and must know how to present our ideas to others and troubleshooting capabilities. 

1. You must first understand what is required of you.

2.You must ask for any doubts freely so that there is no ambiguity in your thinking and what is actually required of you.

3. Analyse yourself what sort of outside help you need for this or it is only internal matter of your deptt.

4.Be transparent and cordial for getting any outside help.

5.Have necessary point checks at every step you are progressing, to ascertain you are on the right path.

6. Your body language should match your words in each discussion and should have and express confidance in what you are doing.

7. Make the thing presentable. 

personal effectiveness is a sum of personal values and goals the person upholds for himself and in his contribution to the organisation and the community - achieving the goals through interpersonal effectiveness through valuing the dignity and opinion of others and effective teamwork, while not compromising on the personal and organisational values and goals through personal authentic integrity being thus a source of inspiration and strength for the team/community able to negotiate effectively and resolve conflicts of opinion with effective mutuality and respect leading to peace, happiness, prosperity and welfare of all stake holders.

1. Own your job responsibilities which will make you efficient .

2. Always be ready to increase your knowledge because there is no limit to it.

3. Do your job perfectly.

4. Never let your work effected from your frustration.It may spoil your image.

This may make any one perfect or closer to perfection up to best of his knowledge.

Planning and organizing your time proactively sharpens your ability to deal with situations and get the most ot of one's life.

I believe that way to effectivness whether in professional life or personal life is prioritising the task,give more priority to more important task and less to less important and priorities will definitly take you up in the ladder of life.

Be an individual of your own & contribute to group/society/company as you desire. Self emulation is the initial step that offers solace.
