There are Many companies which are doing ads on TV and Radio for all this kind of things, so what is the difference that you will create, to me it should be a personalized touch and if we come to know that he is a potential prospect then we can give him a free oil change or a car wash which will make the prospect more happy and will also tell others how great his experience was with others. Draw out new campaigns where people are getting free check-ups for their cars and also one can showcase new cars and different models there at the same time and this will make the consumer to think and will result in sales happening.. |

I wouldnt personally get convinced to invest in a vehicle just on the strenght of a TV/Radio ad and would rely more on "word of mouth" and/or actual performance / field test. If the price and the model is right for the prospect then they would look into the aftersales back up that they can get. Maybe a good overall package with extended warranty, menu pricing on scheduled maintenance repairs or free oil and filter change during the first 12 months or maybe even 100 ltrs of free petrol to go with the new car. CR Campaigns should be conducted for models below a certain MY, like Y -3 or 5 to reduce running costs on older vehicles and not to rope in a new prospect.

There are certain signs proving that the automobiles markets in the country are now out of the slump. THe two wheeler, four wheeler & also the tractor inductry have reported rise in sales vis a vis last year. So the worst is behind us. The financing is now less restrictive. Going ahead every compnay will put in their best efforts to make the best in these improving times. There will be many promotions, discounting etc. It will be imperative for the companies to maintain excitment in the market through its products & offering. Continual upgradation, face lifting & launch of new models will be the answer. |

I agree with Mr.Kailash about market excitement factor. What creates this excitement , if i understood correctly is price , and offers which come along with product. Its in my opinion a fix. If one need to look at a solution then its with a durable and reliable technology to meet todays demand in market and on legal rules for the vehicle would be appreciated. No customer will be happy if vehicle does not come handy in after 1 or 2 yrs. So technologies like exhaust , and fuel economy when explained and shown with a difference comparatively or relatively can make a OEM stand out the big list of models and vehicles. Technology factors : Economy and Environment benefits would make it a good solution, though not a complete package solution for the immediate market. |
