Sometime not being able to get to all your comments is understandable if you are fortunate enough to get that many but by all means allow for people to leave them. Remember when creating a blog you are creating a social site as well and not allowing visitors to leave comments makes little sense. If you do not want comments use a website! |

Allowing of comments is important so that the blogging underlines the social aspect and also allows users to voice their opinion. Blogging, even though it appears to be one-sided is actually a two sided activity, where even users can give their comments so that the exchange of information and knowledge benefits the blogger and the user.... A blog is meant to be personal , but even personal matters cannot be too personal , which do not have any relevance for any outsider who is going to go through your blog. While being personal is good , since the purpose of a blog is to let the world know what you think and feel , what you write about , or how you write , should have a wider appeal. Only then will your readers feel like engaging with you , in intelligent , and possibly intellectual , dialogue. |
