Having a certificate will make you a better mentor. The ability to mentor is based on experience he gains, but the best mentors can reach beyond their experience. They are able to estimate by extending their experience, and relate it to someone else's experience.

Doing certification is up to each individual. When I see the discussions here, there are difference of opinions. I agree that certification makes you earn more money, increase in your responsibility and so on. But I guess it will increase our confidence of working in any programming language. Even though you are well skilled or experienced, certification makes you understand the basic part of it and boost your confidence of programming. |
