supporting the journalists the writter is wrtting:"Jarnail Singh might not want to be a hero, but unwittingly, he has. 25 years and still counting and no justice. Enough for a reasonable man or a woman to feel angry, depressed, sad, waver, lose focus, feel helpless and uncared for, decide to take the one step that will define him perhaps for the rest of his life, stake everything on that one moment that one might later regret and yet steel oneself and do it because…he was just a man"

Bush and Chidambaram case are equal or different??The blogger is giving his view like:"Here the people throwing shoes are rewarded with prizes. This can result in more shoe attacks, as a single shoe throwing can give popularity, fame and money.Video and images or photos of this shoe attack can be viewed from other websites."

HE writes why the journalist got angry so quickly. And what the journalist said after the incident:"An unapologetic Singh said he will not apologise for his action, though his manner of protest might have been wrong. “My manner of protest might have been wrong, but I did not intend to hurt anyone,”

Why congress did not file a case?

idea posted by Gargi Sinha Senior Consultant, Hewitt Associates

Here the blogger is writting why government(congress) did not go for a case. He is showing his view like this"This issue has caused great embracement to Congress government and shows increasing anger of Sikh community against Congress. Congress is already facing huge protests by Sikhs across India over this issue and issue of giving Congress tickets to Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Titler from Delhi both accused in Sikh riots. Congress did not want to make this issue a big issue; therefore, they decided to not register any case against Jainail Singh."

Amrit halan is writting :"Jarnail Singh was let off in half-an-hour after questioning. Some Congress persons are saying that they are forgiving him, but the losers actually mean they have no choice due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections (they need Sikh votes and Jarnail Singh has, deservedly, become a hero)."

what Sachidananda Murthy, secretary general of the Guild Said?

The Blogger is writting that:"Dainik Jagran editor Sanjay Gupta could not be reached for comment. The Editor’s Guild condemned the incident. “When a journalist goes out in the course of work, he is representing his readers and the paper. He has a much higher responsibility than an ordinary citizen. Some basic decorum should be maintained by a reporter. This is condemnable. Any action of a reporter should be in pursuit of the news, not publicity."

HI Gargi,

Nice collection Now I am giving another blog where Mr Mevidur is comparing all the SHOE down case let see what he is writing.

"there is a difference. George Bush and Wen Jiabao were in alien lands. They had no control over the security apparatus of the countries, they were visiting at that time. But Palaniappan Chidambaram is the home minister of this country and he was addressing a press conference in the national capital and that too in the Congress Party’s head quarters and yet he became a victim. Why ?"
