It's hard to imagine the world without blogs and social medias. The publishing technology has become a cultural and political force. One of the reasons for the rapid growth of the blog and social medias is the existence of user-friendly softwares such as moveable type. They are the easiest, cheapest, fastest publishing tool ever invented. Blogs & social medias have bloomed even when the other industry shrinks. Opening up new and effective communication channels have led to increased traffic. So what do you think is in the store for these network industries? Where do we go from here?  Draft in your ideas.

Way of expanding business.

idea posted by sumitra dutta Consultant, XYZ

Social media has grown up into this versatile, completely transparent, not just two-way, but multiple-way interactive party. You get to tell your story, who you are, and what you’re all about through live, seen-by-millions-of-people-instantaneously comments. This is the place where you have to personally network and put your best foot forward to differentiate yourself from the crowd. One can even generate his business and take leads with the help of these. Many organisations are also posting their requirements in blogs and medias like these. It will surely turn out to be a big platform in most sectors of businesses.

But for writers who earn their bread and butter by creating newideas and books suffer as a professional. The millions of people typing on internet and the publishers steel the idea and save cost by just modifying , copping and publishing without any reerence to the original writer

Blogging is  good Idea but is it worth spending time and money. What one gains out of blogging. I amm doing so on www,blogs.ibibo.com/romeshpatyal and twitter and now bigadda, but it appears that including me we are blowing our own trumpts without any body listening, or every body is blowing and no body is actually listening.

Well I hope that you may be right and I wrong

Mobile Blogging

idea posted by Jayesh Jain Software Developer, MS IT

Bearing in mind the increase in smartphones which are coming with pre-installed blogging type software, the major growth will be in mobile blogging. With i-phones and blackberries in many hands, mobile blogging could make a rapid change to the internet world.

Learn, Relearn & Unlearn

idea posted by ujjval jain Retail, Retail

In this hectic life, interacting with so many people from vivid platforms & different age group at the same time, is a great stimulant to our professional & personal understandings. Definitely we are going to learn, relearn & unlearn many aspects in our lives sharing valuable information & thoughts.

And regarding business, as the traffic increases there can be newer models like an animated mall on that site where one can go together with his/friend & can add fun to h/her shopping & networking. Lots of such things, more revenues for the hosting sites.

Online sensorship and industry shake-outs are a possibility

idea posted by veena srinath Marketing Manager, Tarang Software Technologies

One possible outcome could be that like all industries, when the marketplace becomes too crowded some form of governance and censorship becomes necessary and a shake-out takes place where the weaker players fall away and the ones who are there for the long haul stay on.

What would that mean for us ? We might have "Integrated media" companies and maybe something like tomorrows newspapers are user generated through online community editing or TV channels where the content is user created  !!
