I support you Kavitha but I don't like mob and do not believe in people on street. I wrote the same for the article "Its time to get angry". Lets rather flood the mailbox of required authorities or snail mail them with letters of request.

1. Have extensive RWH (Rain Water Harvesting) done in your house. Let the excess Rain Water deep into the ground by inserting few pipes to the depth of 10 to 20 feet below the ground. 2. Install a RO system to convert plain water into drinking water in your kitchen. I recently installed an Aqua Guard system. 3. Carry at-least 4 bottles if you travel by car and at least 1 or two bottles of watter if you go by a two wheeler. Keep replenishing this water at your office or place of work. |

As a business, it has to grow. Only thing is that, quality check for quality specification is to be carried out very strictly by Municipal authority (Sanitary Inspector etc). It is very sad to note that, these sanitary inspectors or the inspectors responsible for these checks, does not even have a Lab to assure the mass that it satisfies the specification under which it is licensed. So , the need is a LAB at accessible point. When we go to LKG, we are taught to carry our Lunch box & water bottles so that when we grow older, we follow the same principles in life throughout. But, are we doing this now?. When we feel that these bottled waters are not good to our health, we need to carry our water where-ever we go. This is the reason why we have Water bottles, Cool-keg,etc are made available in the market. As far as Water quality of packaged water is concerned, we need to enforce more closer & strict monitoring & inspection very frequently. If required, authority can issue a cert to this effect & be carried by all vendors across irrespective of the place where they do this business. |

Hi,
We're finding it difficult to get good (forget about mineral water)water in our states, and I find it really surprising that all the big MNCs are supplying bottled / mineral / packaged in different labels, in different prices, in different sizes etc. I fail to understand if these companies can sell water in almost all parts of the country why not our state / central government provide such a basic need to all our citizens.
