Every brand understands the value of a brand ambassador. After the world cup win the man of the moment, M S Dhoni,  has notch up to Rs 10 crore per annum in ads. But still the filmstars stay favourites for the brand endorsements. What are the factors which play the key role in choosing the brand ambassador?

The stars can surpass a flop movie but the market value of a player keeps on chaning along with the each and every game. Thus stars are a safe bet. Above all I have never understood the concept of brand ambassador as a whole but I feel a right and relevant person can attract crowd towards the products.

Meena your statement is for the time being but all the players or all most all of them have annual advertising contracts as well. Yes their valuation in total for the coming year will go up and they get some additional customer

ITS ALL ABOUT POPULARITY.  A STAR WHO HAS GREAT

POPULARITY IS CHOSEN AS BRAND AMBASSADOR.  

SOMETIMES MOVIES MAY NOT WORK IN THEIR FAVOUR, BUT

WORKING AS AMBASSADOR RESTORES LOST STARDOM.

Do not you see that, by offering a car by Hundai , the company comes to limelight, not only in India ACROSS the World among all sections of people beyond barriers of communication such as Languages, Culture, Community, Continents, Race etc. Thus , the Brands reach attains a new horizon in Business. Whereas, the Cini-celebs has bit restriction. It may go across but, the sections are very much limited as we see in CRICKET Mania that has no limitation of reach.

So Brand Ambassador does a good job for the Brand.
