Google has its own place in cyber market from ages. Other search engines are not too old. Google has a good amount of experience. Not only that, the amount of information Google gives us, is not given by others. So, comparing Google with other search engines is comparing Heaven and Hell...:)
YES nothing compares to Google.. it will be great challenge to rule in the way Google is ruling in the word of search engines...
I think every tool we have on Google is remarkable..
Taking about the Search engine.. it's now a habit, it's easily accessible, faster, to the point interface, and gives WOW towards customer experience..
Taking about it's integration with other tools: eBlogger, Picasa, Gmail, Books, Maps especially are no doubt an extraordinary achievement to meet new generation demands.. Andriod is another killer OS..

Google has vast range of services from search engine to earning money from affiliate program it has touched the emotional level of E-savvy people through intuitive & innovative marketing strategy since its re-formation when they were in financial crises...The company has emerged back in industry later with greater innovative technologies for its customers all at one place...It enjoys the benefits of being An Early Beginner...when a company gives so much to its customers then why we want to get away from it & yes above all they are one of the best innovative ideas in the industry and an exemplary for any e-business company. It has overcome the survival factor 'n in any case if customers want to get away with it then they should look for sites with above mentioned qualities & services like google...Please suggest me any??? |

I dont think in todays world of evolving technologies, any consumer of services especially as basic and essential as search engine would like to shift from Google to Bing without any reason. I think search technology i.e string based search is already in market and old..Bing to turn the crowds attention has to come out with some new offers or some added search criterias maybe a image based search...or criterias based search like people, monument, place, legal rule etc...without some new associated feature breaking the Google barrier is nearly impossible for Bing...

When Hotmail came to market, people and world thought nothing next..... it was free.... support of Microsoft....many good features as it was lates a linked product to many of Microsoft applications.
There were many players... but hardly any one was able to beat the Hotmail... companies were moving to paid email server for Yahoo, Hotmail and others....then came Gmail...... the capacity to store 2 GB data... free of cost.... light engine... faster to acces....and it was a revolution in Email business. Since then they have never looked back.....
If anything with such a good quality features comes in compare to Google, yes... that can lead the market and outcry the google for sometime.... Bing is doing good and giving a god fight to Google in coming days. Still Bing has to build the very large database to make it more useful, more accurate, it has to come out of Microsof box and become global to challane the world of googly.

I am a die hard fan of Google and Googling is a die hard habit too. No second thoughts! But one thing is for sure. When everyone was selling low-end technology for a price, Google gave something that was unimaginably accurate, faster and reliable for free! Most of the success lies there- that Google understood the demand of the www users and catered nothing but that; perhaps even more. People understood the power of reliable search only after google and the World of web became easier every day. They didn't have pay for getting something invaluable. Now google is one of the IT giants the world has witnessed. It has shook some of the oldest roots and made them think about the need for innovation, updation and fair priced services catering to one and all- all these with the ease with which you drink your morning cup of coffee! That said, "People are nobody's property!" Given with more reliable, efficient technology people automatically tend to switch from their "Old habits" to "Newer Technology". But Google has set standards for all new entrants already- Fast, efficient and reliable technology for FREE! Provided with this- there is no need to say- Habits do die! |

what is the need? even if required, don't access google simple, ask bing people to launch bing as they did launch vista, i think they need to promote bing massively around the world, and should finalise some giant deals with giant software co,s to adopt BING only
You can break the habit of Google in the same way as you have to draw a bigger line without erasing a small one.
Make another search engine bigger then google. I think microsoft is on his way to do by collaborating with Yahoo.........
This was on funny side but actually we are so prone to the habit of google that it is very difficult to break. It can be broken only when everthing we search will be chargeable......

... seems to be a bit shortsighted. google is much more. i do literally everything with google (mail, text, tables, presentations, fotos, films, sites, ...). for info searches wolframalpha seems to be even better than google, because it 'thinks' (not only searches) for you. |

There really is no reason to use Bing other than “I like it” or “I don’t like Google”. Me? I’m sticking with ol’ trusty Google. It’s not exactly pretty but it gets the job done, and done well. No time wasted with pretty images to try and make me feel good about using it. I feel fine using it. So what happens when the tech-news is finished with Bing? Everything will go back to normal. Was Microsoft’s investment into Bing worth it? |

Good is not juts a habit of computer savvy people. It is a part of our daily life as internet.
To break this, one has to replace it with the something very new, fast, better and very apealing feature product. The way Google has become a part of our life, it is hard to think IT life without google.

It's not easy coz Google has become Snynonym to Web Search and offcourse the results are at bullseye. On the other hand Bing is not bad at all it have some nice things arround pictures and stuff.. However its hard to break the habbit... same goes with using windows how many of us are willing to drop windows as OS and use Linux or some thing else....
