I think one might be the revelation of shady dealing or unethical behavior on behalf of the company. They try hard to stay on the positive side of this equation but the ad business are real pitfalls. By offering free services, Google captures masses of detailed information. They then use this information to sell ad space. There are ethical edges here and Google will need to be vigilant to avoid crossing the line, particularly as need for revenue growth increases. |

Ya its true that Google is following a good marketing tactics to keep in a mass of people in its shadow. But one thing to worth mentioning is that it do offers good services like good results in google search, more storage space in mail. When a competition needs to overtake, it has to know what is lacking in them?? Well it seems a big fish is taking in all the food overcoming other fishes that are too big in different areas. So competitor should come upon to show how far their services are better that what google offers and also show the Unethical behaviour as mentioned by radhakrishna..

In my opinion one more threat will be Real time web search. Real-time information delivery is fast emerging as one of the most important elements of our online experience. Twitter creates a real threat to Google in real time web search. Google even admits the real time search as one of the biggest unsolved challenge it face. |
