Hi, I am in Delhi.........i wanna know is there any arrangements going on for this meet in Delhi. I would love to attend it and to meet the membetrs. Please kindly do write about the entire meeting- what exactly happened there.
I sincerely regret not being in a position to attend the meeeting of so many intellectuals from different fields at one place. Even the idea of meeting the great brains is quite enticing and thrilling !

I did not want to enter into this debate any more. However, I have been asked if I could take leadership in South. I have not shied away from responsibilities so far and I said Yes.
The first 40, please volunteer. Bangalore/Mysore/Hampi/Chennai/Kerala... Please indicate your preference for this core group meet

I had indicated that I will wait for Maharashtra and Gujarath before in South we take a decision. Apparently, the event has not taken place. I had also indicated that we could vote only for a place in South India - Bangalore/Chennai/Hyderabad. Few votes have been received. We don't need to worry about it. In events, usually very few people take the initiative. What you have done is laudable. We should simply go ahead with arrangements and participation will come.
This brings me back to my proposal. I will make arrangements and then invite...Now it is Toostep's call

I would like to update you from North Zone, the response was good but they didn't gave any information whether they all met or not...
From Gujarat & Maharashtra I Hardly got response from 10-15 People...

What I feel is rather posting different different location, things wont work properly. What if we can make 4 zones North Zone / East Zone / West Zone / South Zone in India and TOOSTEP members can meet accordinly in there particular zone's TOOSTEP members and then we can go further to meet on National or International Level... The dates should on 14th / 15th / 16 August 2009. Pls comment... |

Personally feel having toostep meeting Zone wise.Good Nijagunaradhya.Well said.
Paresh i support your idea , its better to make it in 4 zones and based on majority we can opt...... for example
North : Mumbai/delhi
South: Bangalore/Hyderabad
West: Ahmedabad.......,. etc
Even we can go for 2 common places
Mumbai/delhi for people fromnorth-east to west
bangalore/hyderabad for all southern region.
Based on majority only we can zero in on a particular Ven...
Kindly contact all the TOOSTEP members of your area and meet accordingly. It will easy and convenient for everybody as all members don't have to travel much...

it will be pleasure for lucknowites to welcome the members of toostep in lucknow.
LUCKNOW is under swain flue and gradually increasing in number's of patients ,next month I am proposed to be in USA. Even then names can be send and if the position becomes normal before I leave for USA the I shall welcome them and do the successful meet .
I n my openion there should be zonal meet at first stage then annual general meeting at single place in India.
Let the foreigners come forward.

I can arrange meeting at kolkata but I know that none may be interested as very few n less members are from Kolkata.Though I inform I can arrange here very well. Also one of my suggestion is that we should think about the topics of discussion too as it will make the meeting successfull and encouraging too. |

Dear Mr Durga Rao, Greetings. I support your idea. However, the sharing of knowledge can start with through mails/ communications via these kind of sites / webminars before we meet and interact in person.

The reason I am requesting to meet on these dates is just because we OFF in our office (I believe), so everybody wont have to take a day off on these dates....
People are coming forward to meet, but franfly speaking there is no response which I got from Gujarat yet !!

I am a typical consultant. I would advise and if the targeted persons do not take the idea, I would not insist on it. The idea will not die in me. I will always be thinking about it and at the right opportunity, make use of it. Toostep can expect me to invite them with details |

This is not an issue of sponsorship but an issue of appreciation of an opportunity. I have high appreciation of the size of collective talent pool in toostep. I am not able to understand why so many decision makers in such large organizations could not understand its potential.
Even if few of us meet, what is the outcome? We will again probably decide on dates, venue and content. All these we have gone through on this platform itself. These issues do not need personal meets. What requires personal discussion is amongst core committee of organizers which could only be formed when the event is sure to happen.
My invitation to you all, once I am able to convince decision makers on my own - remains!
Mr. Sunder I really appreciate your views which mentioned here.However what I think we cannot decide anything before we meet once on behalf of TOOSTEP platform. What I think is if we meet once may be few of us then n then we take any intiative to make a big agenda for future meetings.
On this meeting let us plan something by our own expenditure, later on the stage we will find some organisations or sponsors to arrange a National or International meeting..
What is your thought on it?

Thanks for the initiatives. Holding zonal meets is a good idea. But I am presently in US and hope to return to India only by the year end. My best wishes for the Chennai Meet. |
