While 'making a stand' is of course important, as new business remains the topmost priority of PLIs, a focus on renewals is also needed if they have to survive the downturns and deepen their bonds with the customers. This factor plays a major role for the industries while making their stand. The product has to be modified according to the Location in which it is marketed. |

It also depends on what consumer preferences are. Suppose in a region like South of India there Pizza can go well with Sambhar(which is part of their normal dietary) but the same thing will not work in North of India. It is just because of the consumer preferences. |
