Clean India is the need of hour

Yes,already there are incentives like carbon credits for reducing the emission levels. State govt.of Himachal Pradesh has already decided to cover more area under forestation so that they can earn carbon credits for that thus enabling them to earn more revenues.There is CLean Development Mechanism from Kyoto Protocol through which organisations like Super critical thermal power plants can estimate the reduced emission levels and hence earn the carbon credits. There is initiative from central govt through its Five years plans to boost the solar energy generation to the scale of around 60,000MW.Govt has declared incentives for the private players to enter in to this area.

Blaming others wont do. Let us start from our own home. What can we do ? This is something I have done.. Keep two dust bins 1. dry bin 2. wet bin Dry bin does not need plastic bag. Buy a rose plant and throw the waste from tea in it. Give left over food and the peels of vegetables to stray animals. Even this reduces a lot of garbage piling and the plastic bags..

IF their is a straight forward attitude among all families in a society to live in a clean environment then definetely this can be solved. Everyone wants to just enjoy luxury from inside........... But noe is bothered abt outer world. Other than metro cities many northern states especially still have open drains system. For garbage dumping Public prvt partnership is being introduced but after the contract is awarded the state govt.s are not ready to provide land for dumping ,,, hence the plan fails....
