I mean we are getting to know from other countries that Delhi & its markets are not safe as they have been targetted by terrorists, and nearly 5 countries have already issued warnings against India as not a safe destination to their citizens, when the situation is like this fear will automatically creep in for people who are coming from outside, and when something like commonwealth games are happening where many players who are scared in the first place to participate in these games on the wake of attacks, as India never has gained that image in others as it being a very safe destination. So even a small incident can cause havoc to the commonwealth games. Also assurances from all top officials who are foreseeing things at these venues if something happens, they should be held sole responsible for it. Then we can see some strict measures in place, if something happens ask Sheila dikshit to step down as she is involved in everything in the CW games, if this sort of approach is taken then there will be very few to nil that can go wrong.... |

Since long there has been a constant battle between the true existence of this so called group of terrorists. They say they are fighting for their existence,rights and true identity in the country which is otherwise neglected by the Government of India.And for this they aim for the situations which can prove to be a source of noise in Govt's ear. SO depending upon this ideology Commonwealth Games are indeed an attractive event for them which can cause maximum damage to humanity & India's pride in front of other nations! |

Surveillance and beefing up intelligence is one extreme, we have to be prepared for countering terror attacks. How prepared are we will send an alarming signal to the terror organisations. Commonwealth games, olympics, etc. certainly carries vulnerability. A country of this magnitude should prove to the world that we are a much stronger nation.
