Its high time that we realise that the swine flu has spread drastically due to travelling by many of the employess. So its better to restrict travel to places that have seen cases of swine flu, and staff members returning from those areas should be quarantined for a period of time before being allowed to enter offices. And also inform employees on latest developments and reacquainting themselves with pandemic preparedness plans on respective corporate websites. |

There has been a no. of institutes closing down for the same reason but professionals especially in IT sector have no other option than to travel daily, to & from the office. The rapidly spreading swine-flu can be prevented only if employees are updated on this & informed about all the precautionary measures to take. Corporates should go on taking that extra step of keeping regular health check-ups for people. Person found positive should be provided leave & proper support & medication.
I agree with you Gargi. Companies definitely should not travel to sensitive places. But, they also should not forget that security should be there inside also. They can spend some more money on the health check up of the patients and if they find any positive results, they can advice them to take some leave for few days.....
i support your idea .Awareness on the matter and due precaution has to be taken.for employees travelling to performed duty in project.

The employees must be educated about H1N1 viras and the how they can save themself from it shoud also be given guidence on it. The employs are you assets of the company and if you loose any asstes then its your loss so avoide the outward traveling so that the employs donot get affected by the H1N1 viras. |
