Brands can also be created by the price that is attached to the product. Some brands are actually known by their price that is attached to them.

The best example which I could think of is of Big Bazar. Thisis known because of the lowest price which it offers.

Symbolization of a product name itself is the first step to transform it to a BRAND. i wudn't even say the other factors are irrelavent to create brand equity, but its the symbol which clicks the recognition & ultimately retention. Just think about a 'swoosh' on any sport gear & u can think only one name-NIKE. Same as a circle with 3 spokes in it only means 'Mercedese' ;and actually the intentions of consumers to flaunt the symbol drives such market players uplift a particular symbol to the level that they're like super-glued to a brand name!

Brands are related to color which they adopt. Like in case of Hutch and Vodafone. When it was pink it was Hutch as soon as it changed its color to red it was Vodafone.

This is the one liner which describes the brand in its full glory, what it stands for and the people who need to sit up and avail of it! Examples: ICICI Bank "hum Hai Na" AMUL "The Taste of India" L'Oreal "Because You are Worth it! |

even i do agree with ragahavan, i have seen so many times, people just avoid places which are not really appealling to them , and even as a common man one wants to visit places or do business who has his office and other things which are in place, and... |
In spite of targeting the new customers target only the potential customers in tough times. Because it is management rule which says that 80% of you revenue comes from 20% of your customers. |
