The drama intensifies as Pakistan Interior Ministry chief Rehman Malik said that information provided by India on the Mumbai attacks was not sufficient. Malik sought more details, including Kasab’s statement, for “successful prosecution” of suspects arrested by Islamabad. On December 12, Kasab’s father Amir, speaking to Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper at his house in Faridkot, said: “I was in denial for the first couple of days, saying to myself it could not have been my son... Now I have accepted it. This is the truth. I have seen the picture in the newspaper. This is my son.” What is the current gov’t trying to prove? By bringing in the terrorists mother to Mumbai? Hail media, please ask the Indian Govt, if they actually intend to resolve the issue, instead of wasting time with passing of information to and fro, with another nation which is also going through a transition. Will this crime also go unpunished like many others because of the leaders likely to achieve their political goals? The current stance is more or less looking, that Indian government is buying time, so that when the Indian elections 2009, is over ,which ever party forms the government, the terrorist’s fate will be decided then, depending on how that government uses Kasab! |

Shiuli, it is not a puzzle. It is a pathetic reality. Congress govt shall not take any action or rather allow delay in any action, until the outcome of election results. Afzal Guru who was sentenced to death after due fair trial, is enjoying Indian hospitality for months! Don't boil your blood. In the name "secularism" some political parties, keep on garnering Muslim votes. Muslims on the other end, refuse to see the reality. It is heart-wrenching reality that we r going out of our way to show the world how fair we can be to a terroist. But if Varun Gandhi, Or Naendra Modi says soething imflmmatory even agaist Pakistan, he can be booked under NSA. We r sleeping to be dead.....
I agree with Shiuli Ji.Instead of sentencing him to death, government is just wasting time in having a fair trial for him..I want to know ..why do you need a trial for a terrorist like Kasab who has been arrested in full public view as a person responsible for the lives of so many people. He is guilty and should be be give death sentence straightaway.

Kasab will argue till Quyamat. It's no wonder because now his sole aim will be to pull on this case as long as possibble by taking advantage of every loop hole available. Now it is the acid test of our juduciary ,legal system and public prosecution in front of whole world to see to it that at least this case gets disposed-off at "super express" speed. If this happens then that will give a strong message to the whole world strong resolve and readiness of legal machinary to kick terrorism. But sadly if it doesn't happen so then we shall become biggest joke as a country in front of the whole world and a major cause for common man to loose the faith in judiciary system of country. So all the best to judges handling the case and public prosecuter. They have to work really very hard! |

Is the Inidan Judiciary working hard and fast to put an end to this issue ?or it is still following the stance of the age old Inidan legal system that Justice is blind till proven guitly!

Having a fair trial irrespective of the final result. This is the only civilized way to get the job done. If proven guilty, he should be sentenced accordingly. |

Afazal Guru was pronunced guilty after due process of law in a "civilized" way....he at the moment enjoying himself more then both of us....it's time to wake up........

Any person who gains an unlawful entry in our country is our enemy!! He is guilty on the first count of BREAKING & Entering!! GUILTY! Any person who has no remorse for his actions - GUILTY! Because he believes that he has commited some action worhty to be called a CRIME! Kasab, in my eyes GUILTY on both counts! CASE CLOSED. Hang Him! |

India has already proved to the external world that the terrorists were from Pakistan. Its high time to hang Kasab, the lone terrorist.. Let the fast track court finish the trial at the earliest and close the chapter by finishing him.. |

Mr.George, you are right India has proved its point, the World already has agreed the terrorists were from Pakistan, so the big question what’s the delay in Kasab be sentenced to the guillotine?
Is it another stance of the present govt to buy time and make this an issue for their election agenda in the name of fair trial?

It is wlell said Law transgress all the oddes, therefore the redtapesims of the administrators in implementing the Court Order in every day life to protect the interest of the Citizen has shown an indifferent attitude, either for the reason of being salaried class or no explanation is being shought for or being armed with the power of the Govt.So in order to put to Order of the Judiciary in use , it is necessary that , the Judiaciary has to have a control over the administration of the Govt.to see that Justice is being delivered and carried out in its proper spirit and Prospective, and the common Citizen are being benifitted out of the it.

The new drama from Kasab, he has asked the court to provide him writing materials, as he wants to write letter in Saudi Arabia. I quote the lyrics of the song which Kasab might be singing"Maine sanam ko khat likha, khat me likha......... |
