I feel if we are expertise in whatever we do, the end result would be successful implementation or competition of that work. But as data center move is really done, IT professionals and few companies have an expertise on-hand to do it
well. If you have an IT knowledge it doesn't mean you have an understanding of how to move a data center. Very high density power and cooling environments require
specialized expertise and coordination.Experience counts in whatever you do, find someone with the requisites experience. So its critical that data centers both
facilitate current operations and provide the flexibility for future
business growth.

Upgrading systems during the move adds risks to the projects. It is very significant we are using a data center move to drive server visualization. Any attempting to implement server visualization during a move means disaster.So minimize any change during the move. I mean don't switch vendors and don't virtualize. |
