When it comes to infrastructure and lifestyle, I would prefer Bangalore. Not only that, its weather is far more pleasant than any other city in the country and is least polluted among all other metropolitan cities. Also Bangalore has more Green cover which makes life all the more easy, the transportation system is really good and is one of the best in the country, the only thing which is worrying is that the city is becoming more populated and now its a bit cramping for space. |

Also, Kannadigas and other Bangalore residents are the most friendly and welcoming people in India. Their hospitality is the best. Even the auto drivers are one of the least agressive here.
I do completely agree that bamgalore is one of the best citi of india in all prospectives.
Bcos, Hyderabad is the only place where u can find lots of opportunities in healthcare, pharma and IT fields. It has optimum temperature all throughout the year. Hyderabad is developing day by day and is reaching new heights. It is a place where u can move around freely. It is one among the oldest city in India. Hyderabad is best in terms of education, jobs, business, and basic amenities to lead a happy life.
Hyderabad is the best place to settle down, you can find every thing as per your comfort.
Yes, I agree Hyderabad is good place to settle somebody. We everybody can understand Hindi, English and local language.

I think it is more a personal choice and varies from person to person. There is also the infrastructure. Surveys do not always consider all factor. I recall being in Delhi several time with no electricity for hours. Thee is also the fact that one one gets used too a place, social circle, work culture...... |

It goes without saying that New Delhi is infamous for its overpopulation and high pollution.Earning money is everybody's priority but here life is so hectic and artificial that everything apart from job seems an illusion and ephemeral. Also, for girls and women;Delhi is not so fair.Adulteration is at apex,be it the milk, food or water at home.
But again it is personal choice what you like the most.I dnt like Delhi but i am here at present just hoping to go to my patron place after completion of my MBA
India has many beautiful cities one can choose from. The issue is that it is not always your choice.
Even though Delhi is by far better than others. Still, I support pury personal choice. I was more surprised knowing that Gurgaon was rated better than NOIDA. As i think Noida is better than GGN in terms of infra and public transport etc. I also like II tier cities like Pune, Bhopal, Nagpur.
Kolkata ... the city of Joy .. keeps herself 'low profile' yet the best place 2live. How ?
--- Low cost of living ... the most important aspect
--- A perfect harmony ... yet viabrant - no communilsm, no regionalism
--- The 'think tank' of India / no dress code
--- No fedudalism / zamindarism - all are equal
--- No teasing of 'women - girls'
--- No language barrier - total peace anfd tranquility

May be Delhi ... based on some statistics .... but there are so many cities other than metros where you can find equally good amenities are available .... |

According to me Delhi is the best city to live in. I agree that Delhi has lots of problem such as atmosphere, traffic etc but still Delhi is Delhi because Delhi has Metro, Delhi University, JNU, lots of Historical monuments, and malls which add spice to the life. And the most importantly Delhi is the capital of India. The life style and fashion of Delhi is better than any other place these are the reason why i say that Delhi is the best city to live in.

I am not very sure that we should take such assessments seriously. Delhi is after all the Capital of the country. Everything is subsidised to some extent either directly or indirectly. A very obvious example is tghe price of petrol and diesel. There are many more. More than anything else ..... things actually work is Delhi!! Otherwise all this window dressing will be a waste. I have nothing against Delhi....it is a culturally diverse and a gorgeous city. But the survey would probably more realistic if we left delhi out of consideration. |

Delhi has a big Heart. Welcomes all and accomodates all. Delhi gives its heart, air, space and love to everyone unlike Mumbai where non Marathas are treated badly. |

Delhi by far in my opinion is the worst city to live in specially if you and/or your spouse is a working proffessional . The safety of the family is always a big question mark .. I would rate Mumbai as the best city to live in in spite of the crowd/rush / traffic etc etc |
