Just making website and launching it online is not the final step one has to take care of search engine optimisation activities. I've seen many upcoming entrepreneurs who got there site design by any small web designing firm or freelancers payed good amount to them and never thought for S.E.O activities afterthat. |

I agree with Mr. Rohit. Merely creating a website won't work. An entrepreneur should regularly maintain it so that it remains activated all the time. This will be good for his business.

If a website loads far too slowly, eBusiness runs the risk of losing visitors. So make sure you use software that reduces the size of the image or file so that the website loads faster. A fast-loading page is always better than a slow one; and in any case, slow pages are invariably overloaded with junk. |

That need not be the case every where.
The Basic concept is that that there are two types of sites,One being HTML and other Flash.
The flash is heavier so the loading time is slow where as in HTML it is fast.
Some of the major industries use only flash since their firm is being recognized and have a strong client base.for instance www.ray-ban.com/india
The point here is if you have a firm which is either a start up or not doing good(affected by the slowdown) then i would suggest you to go with a HTML site since the pages load faster and also the page ranking goes high,where as for a flash sites the robots will not read the contents within the flash.So the ranking is purely on the hits which you get for your website.

Many businesses go online using a free web space from their internet service provider, rather than having their own web address. Its better to have your own domain. Customers will feel more comfortable. Which one do you like 1) www.xyz.com/myshop.com 2) www.myshop.com I will choose option 2, so as others....plus these days the cost is negligible having your own domain.

But still if they want free stuff than inplace of getting subdomain.. they can have free domain on co.cc ......... like.. www.yourname.co.cc
Free space upto 5GB is easily available on hosting sites..

site should not be loaded with so much info that the visitors get confuse. it should be user friendly, easy to excess, & interactive. use sign & symbols instead of writing.... costomer likes a site which saves his time & which is easy & friendly to use... & the most imp thing your site should provide him the latest info so that he doesnt think of going to other sites....
