Education is neccessary for Politics

In my opinion education is very much necessary for politicies. The politicial leaders must be educated for them to know the problems of the country and the people, then only they will be able to solve the issues of the people. It seems that the future of Indian politics is bright, as the number of Indian youths entering the politics went up in the last few years. Even university like Oxford reported 50 percent growth in Indian students signing up for politics course.

Honesty, Awareness, Reason and Purpose .........are much more needed than being educated.

A dishonest educated is hugely bigger a problem.

Unaware educated is at best a risky proposition.

Thoroughly educated who can not see REASON is worse than uneducated.

And of course, Purpose being otherwise education may only be adding to perils.

Before we can argue if education is necessary or not for a politician we must understand what a politician is required to do. In a Party forum a Politicians role is to provide information about his locality, people, development needs of the locality, organise people of his locality, educate the people of his locality on Government and its activities and so on. He will also help the party to choose right candidate to represent people in Parliment and Assemblies, support the party in its programmes. But to be a Peoples representative one needs to have capability to understand peoples problems, development needs of his locality, Policy requirements to support and stain development, Foreign Policy needs, understanding of technical inputs required and so on. To be a Minister one requires additional capabilities. But today any one can become a politician, peoples representative and Minister, even a street begger can represent you and become a minister. As a Peoples representative their main responsibility is to help the Government make policies, rules and regulations to provide good and transparant Governance. But they end up taking the role of executives and start supervising development work in their localities. They do it because only if they supervise developement work then only people will think they have done some thing for the locality and vote next time to them. This is the reason they have introduced MLA's programme, MP.s Programme etc. Most of our MLA's and MP's do not know what they are supposed to do in Parliment/Assemblies, Their role ends atraising their hands wheneever the party boss tells them to raise, or jump to the well of the house to disrupt the proceedings at the sign of the Party boss. They are just Goondas. How many of our so called Educated representatives participate actively and contribute in the parliment? Take for example even the recent Cut motion moved by the opposition this time on price issues. What is the logic behind such cut motions? Do they know if prices are not raised, what other alternate method is there to mobilse funds to meet the shortfalls? Simply telling that dont raise the price with out telling how to bridge that gap is meaningless. Educaton therefore doesnot mean degree's. If you say an MP requires at least an MA then these people will buy MA from an University, Why MA you can buy even PhD these days.

eduation has a power to clean the dustbin .most of politician r uneducated.they has made the politics as well as dustbin.they don`t know styl of talking,management,behave,history of india.they will be a futurstic for india .it cann`t be possible without of EDUCATION............

Education is must for politics also... For joining as member might be is not necessary.. But the same person had given any public representative post they have to handle as good...
