Start working on your speech. It’s best to write it
down and practice. Ensure that you are not getting monotonous and include
occasional momentary relief by adding humor to your speech. Do not overload
your audience with too much information. Analyze the task and priorities your
content. Speak about only those points that you think needs to be presented.
The less important points can be shared through handouts, etc. Write down your
points and keep it ready for easy referral.

I advice not to sound mechanical. It’s advisable to make the speech as conversational as possible by including your audience in it. It’s important to talk ‘to’ your audience. Maintain eye contact and avoid using fillers like ‘eeh’ , ‘uhm’ , ‘aah’ , etc. All this requires a lot of practice. It usually takes more than three weeks to prepare a good impromptu speech.
Speech comes under your control. Avoid referring
to it as far as possible, but in case you lose track, it will help. Apart from
the content, the speech preparation should include voice modulation and
pronunciation as well. Recording yourself and listening to it will give you an
idea of where you falter. It’s important to keep your session alive and your audience
awake.

It’s important to start planning and that too well in advance. No matter how confident you think you are, it’s always better to start preparing well in advance. Even though I make regular presentations, every time I feel I’m doing something new because the topic is different, my speech is different, the purpose is different and the crowd is different. So no amount of preparation is actually sufficient. |

I totally agree to the above point. The earlier you start preparing, the
better it is. Apart from the content, the planning would include everything
from visuals - posters, charts, PowerPoint presentation, etc – to your speech,
appearance and body language.

According to studies conducted, visuals are the
most effective medium of communication because the brain absorbs visual data
much faster than any other source of information. So the visual will be the
trump card. However, this does not mean that you overload it with information. It
is important to keep the visuals as simple as possible.

I will like to caution something. Get creative and use minimal images and words, but ensure that you convey your message effectively. Remember, the visuals should not give away all that you want to say. It should be a mind map to help your audience absorb your ideas.

Why are you required to make a presentation? Is it a new idea, new product, merger of two factions in your company or introduce a new brand?? All this requres the presenter to UNDERSTAND the need for the presentation. 1. Support the need with effective research. Thoroughly research the need and add successful examples of similar success stories with quotes and visuals. 2. Conduct a personal research and video record it. Edit the same in not more than one minute capsules and add them to the presentation. This will add a human touch to the task and create a sense of reality to your thought. 3. tabulate the results and propose your thought. 4. Support the thought with current market scenario with the behaviour of the need. 5. Show enough confidence in the need to lay a buffet on the table for everybody to gobble. That makes a very effective presentation too.

I consider time to be precious. While planning your presentation, decide how
much time you want to allocate to each section and strictly stick to the
timeline. The time you allocate should neither be too long nor short. Respect
your audience’s time and stick to the schedule. It’s always better to wrap up
15-20 minutes before the schedule. Thus you can give your audience enough time
to clarify their doubts, in case they have any. |

Networking is a vast term. In simple terms, I can say it is the process of linking. In case of computers, Networking has two meanings. One is internet where you get connected to the vast cyber world. The second is Social networking where you get... |
Though they both solve the basic purpose but the problem is someone is able to do at low price and someone at a higher price. And commercial requires considerable skills to make it effective. |
I think it is less investment and greater return. |
