Essential Communication skills that a businessmen should poses ?

Communication is one of the skills that a Businessman should possess. Among the communication patterns, which are broken down as verbal, non verbal, written, formal, informal, vertical, horizontal communication etc, formal written and verbal communication plays major roles in grabbing business opportunities. In a nutshell, it is the presentation skill that is considered to be the key, which involves thorough subject knowledge, simple and understandable language (avoiding technical jargons), sustainable facts, proper medium etc.

Communication is not just a speech or talking to someone. I believe it should carry the information and make it understandable what you are trying to convey. From the head to toe everything conveys something to the person listening to you. Your eye contact and body language also expresses so much and one must have coordination between these when you present yourself or a given job presentation. Have belief on your confidence and never translate your ideas before you speak. It only requires spontaneous thoughts and live expressions to make an interesting presentation.

Although I am not as experienced as the others in this field,but I would like to include this very implicit quality that is needed for a business man/woman who also happens to be the manager of his/her company.This quality of being able to convey through effective words his/her views or agreements /disagreements on the inputs of the team members in the professional limits certainly adds to a sense of focus and direction to an ongoing project and saves a lot of time too.It is also equally important that a business man/woman expects the same from the people working under them because I think that the manager is the one who is responsible to take final decisions after considering various inputs.So this kind of verbal clarity  and transparency is required.

communication, definitely is the key to all spheres of life ! even animals communicate ! only the parlance or way of speaking is not the " be-all & the end-all". communication from Latin communis suggests - making common. it needs to be imparted in a way so that what is to be delivered to the spectators or second parties is received with d focussed matter & understandin. i undoubtedly agree with some of the participants on site who all hav come up with the clear & concrete concept of product knowledge, infrastructural changes, cost and price strategies, the entire PODSROB theory and so on ... communication is the source to understand, transform & impart and it can use any medium to be communicated for prolific rewards in a Business. though, we al emphasize on English being global language and its knowledge and understanding is a must now a days too, but there are nations sustaining & surviving even with a little of it. A businessman must know "trick mngmnt" and strike when business atmosphere is favourable or with the help of the same tricks create an atmosphere. business communicated is the business survived or done...., the medium can be any but the notion of business should remain the same and u play the game......rest just to be spoken about and lame !!
