I think doing good things takes courage, whereas to do bad things, people are wired in that way by default, and to do good one has to change the way things are done, and change is one such word which we really do not want to associate with in the first place, and people are in their comfort zones doing bad, which is very easy and to do good one has to come out of their comfort zone which is difficult and needs some sort of courage to do according to me. |

Because of weakness only people are tempted to do bad and hence one should have the courage to do the right thing against odds, with the help of moral courage.

I support Kiran with my added views. Doing good things needs courage. Here, I would like to add that not only courage it needs patience, knowledge and practice, too.
In general it is seen that taking law in their hand is very simple and later you keep saying that 'I did not know' but if you the correct thing and then do the wrong/ bad, you are always worried about the consequences. At the same time you keep taking precautions/ safety measures to over come the ill-effects of bad deeds. Take the example of 'Drinking', 'Smoking' where if you know being habitual of these things is always harmful therefore you keep there consumption under control. The person who does not know ill-effects suffers at later stage. In case of obeying traffic rules, the knowledgeable man will always be cautious and watch the traffic man and then try to break but an innocent man who does not know the right will be caught in hands of traffic man and pays the penalty. Whereas the person knowing does would escape the penalty.
In case of all big 'GHOTALA' scandals, the person even on administrative chair is caught but crime committed by a police man OR an advocate, there are less chances of getting him trapped. Because, Policeman/ Advocate knows the right thing before he does wrong and he manages the process accordingly but others though they are intelligent (educated) but commits crime or wrong only under influence of their post/ chair whereas they do not know the law/ right and that's why sooner or later they are trapped either under jealous or leaving some live evidence of their wrongs.
Hence, Doing GOOD THINGS NEEDS PATIENCE, KNOWLEDGE and Courage, as well.

I support. Human nature is a chemistry of excellent, good and bad natures, mind, surrounding elements and activities. While the destine of every body is in one way fixed as same that is death, the traveling path only varies for various persons according to their past and present activities. In order to keep a balance between creation and destruction, the different natures created and peoples fall in this stream according to their mind.
I support your point Chandra. Its in nature. Bad things happen in a go. It takes people around the person to make him realize that it wasn't good. Nobody knows what he is capable of. It takes a breath to do something you never thought you could. It could both be bad or/and good. If you don't have people around you who can help you realize that it was bad. You carry it with you. You do similar things in-spite of your knowledge of good and bad. I for one, only understand, that its good to apologize and its even better to forgive. Get strong in such situations and never try to hide the s**t, it always stinks .

Environmental factors & the peers impact , very widely affect one's behavior. These environmental factors we can call it as circumstances or opportunities or situation . Mind is not independent . It is, always, intra-dependent on various factors such as the immediate compelling force to certain thing or the dire requirement of a particular thing or the need to satisfy the insatiable. Behavior comes out of these, decides the action that we say either GOOD or BAD.So, shortly, mind is being dictated by various subconscious reflections that give birth to good or bad. |
