therefore charges them with a higher auto insurance premium.Safe driving will trigger a reduction in the
car insurance premium.

Well one of my friend used to be so unlucky that he used to met with an accident every 2 month and the insurance company used to pay 100% more than what was the insurance premium, later on the company canceled didn't renew his auto insurance because of the previous accident history and now he has opted another insurance company and paid a much higher premium.

When I went to get an insurance I was given an additional discount because I had anti-theft device installed to my car.Vehicles having anti theft devices installed that are approved by their insurance
company, will benefit from a lower auto insurance quote since they are
reducing the risk of theft. So installing anti theft devices will have two advantages, firstly it will reduce the insurance rate and secondly you are reducing the risk of theft.

If you are residing in a city, where
accidents occur more frequently,then you will have to pay a higher car insurance
premium than those living in the city where the number of accident recorded are considerably low. Also, those residing in
cities with a high car theft rate will face a higher auto insurance
quote.

The model and type of vehicle plays a major role in deciding the premium, cars which cost more to repair will be charged more and vice versa..
