Dear Aswani,
Film making had been my business for six years. i have films as an Ex Producer to my credit and also was Prod Head for Balaji Telefilms. There is no honest to god formula for a superhit film at all!!!
The funny thing is someone like you who is in the IT industry should even toy with an idea like this. Seriously, till date inspite of being in the trade I have not found a formula, I am quite positive that you will not find a formula on this or any other forum at all. If you have felt hurt, I apologise. Its not meant to ridicule yopu personally at all believe me.
Sir, I dont understand what is so funny in this ideate.I asked What according to you make a film superhit? Not the secret for superhit. Everyone has their personal views,opinions and they are expressing it through this ideate

We should leave "Star-dom" - the story is the main thing and how it is told (screen play) should matter the most. Good acting and next music, cinematography, editing etc are also 2be counted - does not matter whether the actors are famed or not. It is the high time that we try to avoid :- --- Stardom / glamour world --- Item-songs / extra items / glamour making dress / gimmicks --- Gossip / Publicity stunt ( here all are involved : the media, news papers, magazines, film journalists, shopping malls, dress makers, makeup-cosmetics sellers, Beauty-queen sponsoring companies .. they all form an unseen alliances to be mutually benefitted out of cinemas. --- Budget of the film

I'm realy feeling sorry to express my idea thet the fan followers of star make the film superhit at any cost despite of the story,direction etc. I had seen films which contain unbelievable story which showcases superstar and his super powers. At the same time, I also seen movies with good and touching stories becoming flop.I also would like to request all you to consider every aspect of film not merely your favourite star |
