For me it has to be the news websites where news gets updated every minute and these are the best sources, you can easily go back and see the old stories too, anything as and when it happens you get to know...its not like news paper where you have to wait till next day to catch what happened, or like news channels which takes more time to get the story rolling out. So, news websites is the source where I get the majority of the news... |

I completely agree with your views Jenifer.But when we walk about India as a whole and consider the masses,the major source on which they depend on for the news is the news channels and the newspapers !!

I have been a regular reader of The Hindu for about 45 years and as far me it is the most reliable source giving more information.occasionaly go thro news in websites,depending upon the importance, before opening inbox.

Yes. Let another 1000 channels come, it is difficult to replace the print media. We are used to print media and reading.

e.g. if its about a news of soccer we should not go to the news website,rather than this we should prefer FIFA website.
Depends on the profoundness of the data you want

For me its the good old newspaper that can give you exhaustive news on all topics and not just sports and business. ALso the internet for a quick glance of the days highlights because in the work place today, you dont get much time to sit and read through pages on the net. In any case if the connection is slow, it rules out going through a lot of sites whereas the good ol newspaper can be browsed through in lesuire once you reach home. The last thing yoou wanted to do after a tiring day is to sit on the comp again after reaching home.
