We all want to have a good morning. No one plans on starting the day off on the wrong foot. But there it is anyway. We are rushed, tired, etc. The kind of morning we have can even set the pace for the whole day. With a little planning, though, we can have a really good morning and start our day off right!

The Buddha said that every time you go to bed you should consider that you won’t wake up. That way, when you wake up you will be especially grateful for the day you have ahead of you. Instead of seeing the day as a burden that you have to “get through” you will see it as an opportunity to do something meaningful and beneficial.

I must say I agree with Tanima. I follow the simple rule : "Add life to days not days to life." Who knowns what happens tommorrow.Because tommorrow can't be preddicted. So I must say as first thing when you wake up pray to god that you are alive & be thankfull that you have given one more day, so feel lucky,then the whole day is yours.... One more thing : be happy for what you are... & spread your happiness in others....

Thanks Tanima for referral. My thoughts on the subject are as follows. It is always good to get up fresh, energetic and tension-free. But that doesn't happen always. Baggage of the previous day, uncomfortable dreams in the previous night, anxiety for the day ahead, interrupted sleep -- these are some of the reasons why some mornings are soggy, painfully loaded. If one knows this, one can avoid it. But then too err is human.
