Health aids in Mobile Phones

idea posted by Abraham Paul Senior Telecom Consultant, FCOMNET- Future Groups

The method proposed to incorporate features to check body temperature, heart pulse in Mobile Phones, Blood sugar and Blood pressure:

Body temperature and Heart pulse rate. These could done by providing sensors at the sides of the pone supported with applications running in the system.

Feature to check blood sugar also can be incorported in the mobile phone by providing a slot to plug in the checking strips and running the application software in the system.

May be, with a plugg-in lead from an external wrist band sensor, it is also possible to check blood pressure.

Applications can include, adding the records to personal data, sending it across to the Doctor to get advise on critical situations.

These applications will be useful for many during the mobile situation and add value to the phone.

Display of Ambient temperture and Humidity also could be provided in addition to above.

Many be more related features are also possible as suggested below in one of the comments.

Dear Josefine i definitely agree with you. Just providing the emergency numbers is not sufficient enough, instead most of the things that you have mentioned should be there in a mobile phone. If we can have internet access,3G services an other features in a mobile phone then why can't we incorporate those things which will actually help us when in need and also come useful to us when we are alone.
