Company may be able to offer product by relating it to what consumers are already aware of like health aspect.

HUL’s Lip Guard is a product for roughness and cracks in lips and it also acts as a lip-gloss.

Ayur’s astringent is a cleansing agent so as to keep skin fresh and avoid pimpling. It also acts as an antiseptic for cute or pores.

Nail polishes not only give a better and attractive look to our nails but also act as a nail softener and protect it from damaging.

Green is the new mantra & we have a treasure of herbs & their know how from our culture/literature & ancestors.

Many Indian companies are doing fine with it like VLCC, Shanaz Husain etc.

Globally there is a huge awareness now & its time to make hay.

EVERY PRODUCT NEED PROMOTION TO INCREASE/START SELLS. 
If any company has very good products to sell but BUYERS don't know the brand or product, the sales team of that company can't increase the sale. Because now days Buyers are choosy about the products, before purchasing any product they calculate brand value, ranking & yes price. They can spend much money if they know the brand & it's Reliability. That's why Mutinational brands continue promoting brands to recall brand for more business in different directions!

I completely agree with Prassan's idea. the way these banks make the selection should be amended. It is very time consuming. The gestation from which a candidate gives his exam to final placement is so large that the candidate shifts to some other place. 
yes..because what happens around you definitely affects ...more or less. ....so , it seems that this time the downturn wont be as severe as earlier. 
The challenge of preservation of traditional newspapers has to be answered soon in the wake of technological advancements and need of universal access. IT companies and government must do something to ensure that the precious content is not lost....
