Brij good debate....... Corruption is something that cannot be removed from India. To be more frank it is in the bloods of Indians. We can find only few people who does not indulge in corruption. So to handle this problem and find a solution for this we should keep our hands clean ie. stop encouraging and doing. This problem can be solved only when everyone corrects themselves .......... |

When we talk of corruption, we tend to forget (rather conveniently) that at least two persons are involved - the one who receives and the one who gives. Invariably it is the former that we talk about, not the latter. Without someone to give, who will be there to receive?
There is little point blaming the government, politicians, bureaucrats or anyone else. First, we have to blame ourselves. Most of us do not have the patience and perseverence to wait for our turn or to assert what is justly ours. We want quick solutions. In the process, we don't mind bending or breaking the rules.
The solution has to start with ourselves. We must resolve to develop a zero tolerance for corruption in any form. When I returned to India after a long stint abroad, I had to get my driving license renewed. Everyone told me to go to an agent. I went to the highest authority in that office and after introductions, I asked him politely whether it was a fact that one could not renew a license without paying a bribe. Sitting in his office, and with not one rupee more than the prescribed fee being paid, I received the license in 15 minutes. As the saying goes, where there is a will, there is a way. Readers may not agree but I firmly believe what was said long ago - honesty is still the best policy because the softest pillow is a clear conscience (Narayana Murthy)
Dear Veena Ji, Thanks for addding Idea. I fully agree with you, that if everyone understands his responsibility & stands against corruption , we might be able to stop progression of corruption. Thanks
yes i too feel that curruption is unavoidable from the society its like degree of uncertainty in your experiment but yes again since we are part of society this curruption wether it is having its effects on poorers or richer or else on common people.we all are responsible for that just like the way risk gets minimised in your portfolio ,curruption from the society can be removed as well.its because each and every person will have some effect on the day today life . curruption is not only in india bt even at abroad places but what we can do is again i agree we should first stop encouragin it and it may be philosophical to say that unity is very imp because there are many cases in recent past people raising their voice alone are rarely bein heard .

we always say that our society has become so currupt without realizing that we are also part of that same society, so if we are accpting this statemnt that means we are also pramoting the corruption, this is hardcore & bitter truth that roots of corruption has spread all across the world including our own country, and unfortunatly it looks impossible to correct entire system. though we can not correct everything but one can certainlly fight with the problem what he is individually facing. The only thing is require that we increase the knowdladge about our rights & possible actions to be taken. And most importantly we should develop self confidence with in ourselves , we should not get discoureged easilly. If you through a tough competition & even if you don't win then also you will be able to develop the respect & fear in heart of your enemy. And you must agree that fear is contegious when enemy is wrong. |

Get rid of the AAM (MANGO). You are what you show people you are and hemce open to speculation and manipulation! If you show what you are i.e. a MAN or a WOMAN, thats exactly how you get treated. A slight attitude can make a lot of difference and a slight change will definitely change how you are perceived!! Get rid of the AAM become a Man / Woman and keep surging ahead!! :) |

once a mango wedded a mango produced some mangoes and spent the rest of life insearch of mangoes ..
hands remained mingled with mangoes ..
Dear Markand ji thanks for your Idea,
I really support & believe that if we start feeling that out of the crowd I am one person who can take this challenge to fight against corruption. Probably the job will be very easy & noise will be high when everyone understands his own responsibility.
Thanks

We like it or not the corruption is going to stay till we stand together. As an individual (mango man) we knowingly or forcibly get into the trap. Everyone wants to raise the voice but it will certainly be listened if we stand together. As a marketing professional eveyone do it (or forced to do it) to close a deal. It is called discount etc. Let's stand up and be conted. |

We all keep worrying about corruption when we are in public, but if we look deeply into ourselves, each and every person is involved in it, b'cos corruption is the part of system. just like dowry system! From ancient times or from the time of invention of money, corruption is happening to get our work done quickly. The count of common peoples is always much bigger than the peoples who control's them or who are in power, hence common man has to suffer. The best option to overcome this problem for oneself is to reduce the rate of generation, but this is also quite impossible b'cos everybody wants to marry and everybody wants to increase his family in spite of his earnings and capability. Corruption can never finished, hence if anybody wants to fight against it, he will be finished like Engr. SATYENDRA DUBEY. So pls. dont fight against it, accept it as the tradition. Corruption is all over the world, not only in India. If the government itself is corrupted how common man even thinks to fight against it? |

i believe corruption is a result hunger for everything.........a common man has limited resources , to have his needs met......the problem doesnt arise havin limited resoursces...problem arises when he dreams big, as his dreams gets bigger , so does his needs so to fulfill it he adopts the undertable way. so corruption is in the mind ,so unless one decides to change himself , evn the God cant help it........ |

why dont we try to educate our surroundings and make up others' mind to fight against corruption as well as other evils
|
|
Dear All, I agree with all the views and respect the ideas too but what i believe is that we all Indians, except few, truly want to fight against corruption and other evils prevalent in our society but they lack courage or support so they become hesitant and eventually surrender against the corrupt practices of the society. thus one of the things which may bring changes against these evils may be to educate/ encourage/support our surrounding to fight against these things and which can be done quite easily like being in party/ gatherings and like we can start this topic and try to make others understand.. |

Till such time there are givers, there are takers. So the intiative should start from the givers (one who feels the pinch), then there will be no takers. It is always a give & take effort. So start pledging that you will not bribe and will fight corruption to the level you can for your own self, we reduce that much of corruption in the system. |
