Quality is a feeling, its a perception, its the offering that consumers pay for. Companies should stand by their word & provide the same as they promise their users. There should be no compromise on this.... |

Hi Sheetalji, Definitely quality is a major factor. I think a company can assure their product quality by seeing the feedback from the customer. Aproduct assures its quality by making its ROYAL CUSTOMER to LOYAL CUSTOMER.
Keep your word fine how would you achieve that? The word is from the top management it’s the top management perception, they are not the sole players they are the organizer, it’s their vision, what do we need to implement this vision. Please come up with a debate how to achieve quality product service and sustain and maintain the same in Indian marketplace. Let’s have some juice and pulp instead of clapping in the air conversation.
organizations should be strict on quality. they should try hard to meet the expectations of their customers.

Quite simply, Keep commitment on promises: at and after sales. Continue to better and improve. Keep customer contact. |

This is very important in any business.
And allow me to add "Value for money"
|

"Quality" is very abstract and relative term considering the 100% population as the target consumer because the whole population has varying degree of taste and preferences and that's why there can't be one product which is accepted by complete population, the role of Market Research shows its importance when one wants to get significant target population with required quality parameters, in leyman's term 'what is considered as quality by maximum number of people'. So i definitely think giving consumer what they want can be the only assurance of the best quality to the user and it can be achieved by getting closer to the consumer. |

Suppose if you are doing any business deal with someone, your deal should be designed or formatted such that it will give benefit for both parties i-e for you and for the other party. You should not accept any deal if it doesn't give any benefit for the other party even when it gives more benefit for you while creating the deal. Because it won't give the benefits for you in the long run if the other party is not getting benefit from the deal. |

If a lady is beautiful every one stares at her, similar with Quality if the product and service have it, people will go for it, simple. To achieve consistency surveillance and feedback mechanism has to be in place to take care of exceptions, omissions, negligence, taken for granted, have a do it now approach, look at it from receiving quality rather than giving quality. Hotel Taj in Mumbai gives quality service to receive quality guest!! Quality is such a magic. |

WHEN THERE ARE MORE PLAYERS IN ANY INDUSTRY RESULTING IN STRONG COMPETITION COMPANIES GO ALL OUT TO HAVE AN EDGE OVER OTHERS.WHEN THERE ARE NO STRINGENT LAWS REQUIRING PRODUCERS TO FALL IN LINE,INACTION FROM GOVT AUTHORITIES CONSUMER MAY NOT GET THE BEST. |

Marketing is big time necessary to spread the word in the first place, if people dont know about the product at all in the first place how are you even expecting your consumers to buy by just placing the product in the shelf....that wont happen, if... |
" Retail chain Shoppers Stop today said it may increase prices of its products by 6-7 per cent from April this year in order to offset the 10 per cent excise duty imposed on branded apparel in the Budget 2011-12 .".. This is a news I just read... |
Brands still tend to box her into a simplistic classification of the bahu, beti, biwi, ma, seductress....will this type of marketing to women work out in the first place. What do you think people are brands still into simplistic classification... |
