If sitting around collecting rent sounds a little too slow for your liking, there is another way. It's risky, of course. But then, getting rich faster usually is. Its about foreclosures and distressed properties. You buy them for a song, put in new kitchens and baths, then sell a few months later for double what you paid. Or at least that's the theory.
