A company could do many things to help the common man utilize a Smartphone. They could make them more affordable or create an affordable version of the phone. A company could increase public awareness of the phone and help to educate the public better about the phone.

Make them more usefull from common-man's prospectives. But who is a common man? Is he a farmer, govt employee, service person, unorganised employees in semi-skilled industries, service providers like laundry/cobller/riksha/vegitables/milkman/etc... ??? If these are to be considered to b a common man, the utility/applications provided in smartphone OR under 3G has to be more user friendly and economic. Reducing value of handset will make a good numbers in sales but not in actual use of it. Local language interface & localized services only will make a difference. Ultimately it should increase the utility value of it to maximize the reach. |
