Most of the domestic appliance & consumer goods are given telemarketing program through mass media.So far, I have not seen a program highlighting Industrial materials through telemarketing. Features can be highlighted effectively through mass medias & these program better can reach everyone. |

Since your target market is heavy industrial gaints, these people would be better convinced by showing the actual product demo however large or small the product is. This can be gained by either inviting the customer to your place or taking the product to the customer. Also the testimonial route is a good one to follow but care has to be taken to ensure the person giving the testimonnial is genuine and has actuallly experienced the product. |

For heavy industrial products its better to prepare brochures containing their features, usages etc. and distribute them within the target group for say manufacturers so that users get familiar with the product and that can ultimately influence their decision. |

Performance... and nothing better than a Performance ! An INDUSTRIAL PRODUCT, be it a Machine or an important Machine Ancilliary... the best Marketing Idea is to be present at as many Reputed Industrial Exhibitions as possible across the country & even Internationally. IMTEX - Is one such Exhibition @ Bangalore, which can give an Industrial Product immense exposure. Untill the performance of a Machine is seen, or the Machine is seen right in front of your eyes... It dosent register. Industrial Magazine Advertisements etc. come much later. I have personal experience of IMTEX, where I was present as I had Designed Exhibition Stalls for 2 Clients. Its an amazing experience & the kind of footfalls that you can get at such an exhibition is countless. The Buyer should get the feel of the Machine, understand its features, its technicalities, its Power Consumption, the Space it Occupies n so on... No other Marketing Idea can do this.
