As long as the employees passion is within the vision and mission of the company. It is upto the management to check whether the passion be it upgrading of a skillset is of benefit and be transparent in discussing it if found otherwise, so that the employee has a complete understanding of how his passion will work for or against the company's policy.

Neat, spacious workstations, with degree of privacy and comfort. Clean, hygienic washrooms and not made to suffer because of everyday issues like electricity, parking and other such instances |

Good working atmosphere is a must for any successful organization, but this along is not sufficient it has to be backed by good package.
If employees provide comfortable working environment Employees would work with involvement and they will alsofeel that they are valued and cared more in the organization.Eventhough the company is good enough in monetary benefits but fails to provide comfortable and working environment the employee will not stick on to this company.
if organization will create a good and comfortable environment employees may feel happy and they feel our organization facilities are good to work as much as good this will create a good perception in mid of employees

Yes, we need to support the staff like we support the people in regular life. We have to provide full support to staff in all the aspects and we need to listen to his comments where he is having command and we have to support him when ever he does good for the organization in point of system or reducing the cost at company level by awarding promotion and etc..

It is sometimes seen in the offices that some people are favored just because they are bosses "favorites". Everybody should be treated equally and given a chance to show their talent. |

This is the most essential point in keeping employees happy. employees who don't experience such things in office will never know but ones experiencing such treatment will definitely feel deprived.

Any remuneration/promotion/bonus/exgratia/recognition etc can make a staff happy for a very limited period but long lasting happyness never possible.

I fully agree with Mr.Bhattacharya,if emplyees could be happy and satisfied then there will be no growth.So do anything and it will be less for the emplyee as thier hunger is more than what they are fed with.....this is a bitter truth.
