Believe it or not, research shows that more than 60 percent of all jobs are found through networking. Networking is just about starting conversations with people you meet probably in the library, the gym or anywhere you go. It's an opportunity to talk with other professionals in a comfortable setting and thereby, drive your job search forward. Everyone you know or meet in any situation can be an opportunity to grow your network. If you have networks, reach out to them with a simple e-mail or a phone call. |

YEAH ITS TRUE I TOO HAVE COME ACROSS SUCH SITUATION BUT DIDN'T TAKE ANY ADVANTAGE....NEXT TIME I WILL TRY MY LUCK.
Today at the age of 24 I run a S/W concern with 2 R&D centres. The main thing is that the contact development in my field or area of interest.
I do agree that networking helps one introduce themselves to the other group much faster than any other approach. This method will help the concerned individual - sometimes early in their career or maybe a little later.

Any industy today is in dearth requirement of professionals, no need to panic when not in a job, just take time and look out for the areas that you are interested in, meet as many people as possible, grab even smallest of the opportunity and prove your self.

I think this ideas posted by friends are good and also the idea by Mr.Indranil Bhaduri. Thanks for the referral Ms.Gargi Sinha.
It's ,really, difficult to develop a wider network as we expect. Even, if there is a good network, members are found ,many a time, unable to secure a job. So, what I feel genuinely, is to develop the skill required and look for the potential INDUSTRIES and hit them either by personal visit or supplying a potential CV.
what most people do. They quit and go looking for another job, better opportunity, and higher pay, actually thinking that a new job or more pay will solve the problem. In most cases, it won't." the problem lies that they have not done education about money, they growup working for money, they never let ,money work for them

One of the MOST smartest way of Job searching is to ....NOT entirely depend on Job Portals and Employment news!
Instead Test the following strategy:
Strategy 1:
Go to CLASSIFIED sections of any standard newspaper/Yellow pages/AD Mags There are plenty of jobs by Small Business Owners published daily.
Strategy 2:Always send hard copy of CV DIRECTLY to the recruiter with best possible paper and BY POST. TOP SECRET:HARD COPY ALWAYS GET NOTICED.SOFT COPY HITS THE JUNK FOLDER!
Strategy 3:Thank you letter to HR by postcard!after interview within 7 days!

Nice one sir.
I support your idea, Sir. Thanks for handful information.
"When a person says, `I need to find a job,' it's most likely an emotion doing the thinking. Fear of not having money generates that thought."
So they get up and go to work, hoping that a paycheck will kill that fear gnawing at their soul. Money is running their lives, and they refuse to tell the truth about that. Money is in control of their emotions and hence their souls."
Instead of telling the truth about how they feel, they react to their feeling, fail to think. They feel the fear, they go to work, hoping that money will soothe the fear, but it doesn't. That old fear haunts them, and they go back to work, hoping again that money will calm their fears, and again it doesn't. Fear has them in this trap of working, earning money, working, earning money, hoping the fear will go away. But every day they get up, and that old fear wakes up with them. For millions of people, that old fear keeps them awake all night, causing a night of turmoil and worry.
