Nothing much you can do it about or anything done about it, except probably try and limit ones personal information as such...

Even if you ban Google or any other search engine, the problem is not solved. There are `n' number of organizations, government and non-government, working on different searching problems. I have some suggestion in this regard.

Hi Mr. Kumar, I support your idea. This is the main reason why people's information are seen in search engine. People should avoid giving their personal information to sites that are not secure. Because many sites get your information and sell it to other sites who are in need of peoples information. So be careful while registering in websites.

Without internet there is no technology improve fast, U can search what ever u want. There is good then there should be bad site. Intruder and Hacker try to access ur personal data we should try to prevent it. We cannot totally remove these bads but we should try to minimize it

Be tension free, you wont be at any loss. Its the fear that unconcious mind percieves somehow.Be happy. We all wish you a good luck. |

It looks illogical yet very effective. Don't worry, be happy! Cyber crimes can't be stopped, so better not to take headache. The only thing to do, is not giving your informations for every X Y Z site.
Yes Kumar I agree with you. If one has fear of anything then let him/her better not access internet. Once you are on the net lot lot of your information is captured automatically. Then there are people who use or mis-use the information to take advantage of it in some way or the other.

My lecturer in college once said if your computer/data want to be safe, leave your computer alone, not even single connectivity, then lock it in a sealed room where not even mouse can go inside.
However, now, after seeing the technology development, especially social networking websites, I found almost impossible for you to hide from the world. Even if you did not put any single strain of your data online, your relative would do. He/she can be your brother, friends, penpal, or just someone you met at the coffee shop this morning. Of course, you may not be popular in this way, but, I mean, you will never be totally un-exist in the world of digital.
For the fact this idea is full pessimistic, I prefer inviting you to see the internetworking from the positive point of view. Private data over-sharing is a harm, I agree.
Likewise, would you say "fire" is a good or bad thing? Is "water" good or bad? You named it yourself. :)
Yes, I support the idea "internet is not secure", but, I think you can find a positive way to see this insecurity.

Now a days, with so many social networking sites and a no. of companies tracking the databases which mean a lot to companies looking for marketing, selling their businesses. Many of us would have our profiles published on job portals who offer the complete access to the databases for few thousands rupees and are easily used by insurance cos. etc. to sell their products, services or it might be the companies whom we have already provided our information like Banks, Insurance etc. might want to sell the database to other companies or the places we visit like offices wherein we enter our contact details at the reception before entering. It seems to be too difficult to hide our information. |
