We hear it on daily basis that employees and employers are not satisfied with their current working situation. Employers do not trust that their employees are giving 100% and employees don’t feel that the employers are sufficiently behind them. Of course, there is much more to this dilemma. I am interested in the steps that you have taken or would take if given the opportunity, to fix the employer-employee relationship.

If you are transparent in whatever you do, your trust will be sustained! Decisions should stem from consultations and consensus not based on "over-ruling" and taking "over-riding" powers from others!

Communicate Effectively , Stick to the commitments made, Walk the talk and be professional to all the stake holders. I'm confident , these factors will help build trust.

It is much easier to maintain or build trust before it is broken.
Restoring, maintaining, and building trust all require the same basic actions in my opinion.

Be honest and open to all, to the extent that you are able. Those questions that you can't answer should be left that way, do not provide a misleading answer intentionally.

Keep private information private. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, and lead by example.

Give thanks and credit to others when deserved.

Demonstrating integrity will restore, maintain, and build trust, with each taking its own amount of time. Restoring trust will take significantly more time than the others, which is the reason not to lose it in the first place.

Being simple & loyal in everything where we are involved obviously help us to leave our footprints as 'TRUSTY PERSON'. Because if we are simple & loyal, we will never break anyone's trust.
