In my view, the surya namaskar can provide us flexibility, strength training and cardio exercise. This simple yogic routine can be performed anywhere without much fanfare. The routine needs to be learnt from a good guru so that you derive all the benefits of this ancient fitness form. |

Yaga and Suryanamskar and breathing exercises are very useful while traveling. I support those maintaining it every day even with the laughter exercises.
Learning yoga through guru and practising the same can help a lot. In addition to it good food habits can also help long way in maintaining good health during tralling.
From point of my view I choose surya namaskar. This is one of the yogasana done to keep phisically fit for the entire day..

Certainly, where ever you go your performance, ability to exercise in that all together diff. climate from your native place, over all health is straight way dependent on your meals! Based on medical problems, lifestyle,dietary habits, meal should co-ordinate.balanced diet will make you move on & on.. Simple line of advice: Prefer local foods for better BMR and better digestibility..!!

while traveling one must take only hot food, which is well cooked it may be from any source. very difficult to define JUNK FOOD.
taking hygenic food is most important. Select places where you get good food. Avoid junk food,Oily food.
Apart from small exercises, the very important or the best one is the food control during the time of traveling and this is my practical experience as I am in sales & marketing and need to travel.

while traveling one should stretch him or her self quite often. one must try to walk few steps . keep talking or in conversation also keep you fit |

yeah, stetching often will help u keep active/fesh and its bit like doing yoga ,keep pulling ur abdome in .it will keep ur abs tone .....
Yes stretching for at least 20 minutes will be a good exercise while traveling. & some exercise can carried out at the time of traveling.

I recently came across this concept and it is extraordinarily effective in improving muscle tone and creating a sustained fat loss effect. The name is derived from the Spartans in the moving "300". There are series of YouTube videos that one can use to refer. What I have found amazing is the similarity with Yogic postures with a higher emphasis on speed and power. If we break Surya Namaskar into it´s individual components and practice each of the component in isolation for 30 reps each, you have a Spartan workout. And the best part is that the space needed to do this workout is exactly what one would need for a Surya Namaskar. Hope this helps. |

understanding your body and its needs is much more essential . choosing the right excerise for the body&mind should be done, the main thing being increasing your blood circulation to your brain and refreshing your overworked muscles and brain . even a couple of excerises would do , but you choose the right one with the place where u go. one thing to keep inmy mind , whenever you have been travelling for hours and been working win the same poistion for hours , before you start do yoga,jogging, spot jogging , streching the muscles of your body ,,,,would keep it fit and vibrant for years to go....!
one can choose from .....simple streches (after travelling for hours,working in the same position,after ur cardio excerise,before u start yoga) ,

drink enough water and fruit juices ,do keep some nutrition bars with you for last minute hungerpangs ,If you are on holiday best way to see a new destination is to walk ,so it will be not only cost effective will keep you fit and also help you to interact with locals and see the place with all its local flavors

It is very neccessary on travell to controlled on your diet, also the location where you wnt to travell. Your body structure & habit also helpful for you keep fit at any situation. But it advisible to do Yoga atleat Pranayam for 5 minuts in a day.

difficult to say .we need to consider two cases------- DAILY LIFE - Yoga,Exercise AT THE TIME OF TRAVELING - we should have to concentrate on the environmental condition at the time of traveling and then according to the conditions we have to prepare for that. i think we should have to following points FIRST Cloths according to whether and environment. SECOND we don't need to go with heavy food just try to keep Light Food THIRD we need to book a seat bcoz without a seat definitely we don't feel comfortable . FOURTH if we are going to an unknown place we should keep a map with us etc may be ..... |

Its better to avoid junk foods as it helps to keep our cholesterol level normal. Since while travelling we tend to sit a longer hours which doesn"t allow us to burn our extra fat. |

If you know swimming, head to the hotel pool at any part of the day. Otherwise just do light stretching in the confines of your room and above all be on a light diet. Becuase while travelling you would be forced to eat all kinds of food - some oily and others junk food. Whatever you have, learn to have it in moderation.
